TableCon Quest 2026 Levels Up with More Games, More Creators and More Ways to Play
SINGAPORE, 21 July 2026 – TableCon Quest 2026 (TCQ 2026), Singapore’s homegrown
celebration of board games, card games, miniatures and tabletop role-playing games, returns for
its third year on 1 and 2 August 2026 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre (Halls
404–406). Running from 10am to 8pm on both days, the two-day event brings together local and
regional exhibitors, indie developers, tournament players and first-time hobbyists for a weekend
built around one simple idea: pull up a chair and play.
Organised by Eliphant and Genesis Frontier, TCQ has quickly grown into Singapore’s go-to
gatherings for the tabletop community, and this year’s edition arrives at a moment when tabletop
gaming is enjoying a genuine cultural moment well beyond its traditional fanbase.
Not just a niche hobby anymore
While tabletop gaming has long had a devoted following, industry data suggests its audience is
shifting younger. Recent industry surveys estimate that roughly a third to two-fifths of Gen Z
actively engage with board and tabletop games, with many drawn to the hobby as a chance to
disconnect from screens and reconnect face-to-face. Industry analysts estimate the global board
games market will reach almost US$16 billion in 2025, and Asia-Pacific among its
fastest-growing regions, fuelled in part by a growing board game café scene.
Pop culture has played its part too, with shows like Stranger Things introducing a new generation
to the hobby. TCQ 2026 taps directly into that momentum, welcoming newcomers and lifelong
hobbyists alike for a weekend of discovery, competition and play.
What’s on at TCQ 2026
The convention spans a full range of activity zones across the show floor, including:
Tournament Zone: competitive matchups across card games, board games and more
Open Play Area: a casual, walk-in space for board game enjoyment, community-building
and making new friends
RPG & Game Demo Sessions: pre-booked sessions for tabletop RPG sessions (including
Dungeons & Dragons) alongside walk-in demos on the floor
Play-and-Win: publishers donate copies of their games for attendees to try, with a chance to
win the game itself in an end-of-convention lottery
Creators Alley: independent artists and creators selling commissions, prints and original
work
Games & Merchandise Sales: exhibitor booths and retailers selling the latest games,
figurines, painting supplies and collectibles
Family Friendly Activities: including cat miniature-painting sessions, casual games and
programming designed for beginners, kids and veteran players alike

Festival)
Bushiroad Card Game Festival returns as headline draw
Following a successful debut last year, the Bushiroad Card Game Festival is back at TCQ with
demos, tournaments and stage events for titles including Cardfight!! Vanguard, Weiß Schwarz,
Shadowverse: Evolve, hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME and their latest TCG release based on the
widely acclaimed videogame, Palworld, Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME. The 2026 festival
carries extra significance, marking Weiß Schwarz’s 18th anniversary and Cardfight!! Vanguard’s
15th – milestones Bushiroad is celebrating by expanding the festival to three countries this year,
with Singapore joined by editions in Tokyo and, for the first time, South Korea.
TableCon Quest also coincides with the launch of the highly-anticipated Palworld OFFICIAL
CARD GAME, which will be playable on the showfloor.
Grand Archive steps up with its own tournament
Regional trading card game favourite Grand Archive returns to TCQ with a booth as well as a
dedicated tournament for competitive players this year, giving fans of the game a bigger stage
alongside its usual showcase presence.
Indie Wavemakers zone expands significantly
TCQ’s dedicated space for independent tabletop creators, Indie Wavemakers, has grown
substantially for 2026, with a wider line-up of indie developers and publishers from across the
region showing off original games – from card-drafting and worker-placement titles to narrative
curios and party games – giving visitors a first look at fresh talent shaping the future of the indie
tabletop scene.
Other exhibitors joining the show floor include miniatures specialist HammerHouse, who will be
showcasing the new Starcraft Miniatures game; Ultraman Card Game, and a wide roster of
Singapore and region-based indie studios and community groups spanning wargaming,
deduction games and tile-placement strategy titles. TableCon Quest also coincides with the
launch of the highly-anticipated Palworld Official Card Game, which will be playable on the

A weekend out for the whole family
TCQ 2026 is designed to be genuinely welcoming to all ages and experience levels. Beginners
are encouraged to walk in and try a demo with no prior knowledge required, while family-friendly
programming, including miniature painting and casual play sessions, makes it an easy, affordable
way to spend a weekend together. At the same time, seasoned tabletop enthusiasts have plenty
to sink their teeth into, from competitive TCG tournaments to a packed RPG programme and the
Bushiroad Card Game Festival.
